1. There is an immediate need for housing for those affected by the storm. If you own property along 30A, you can donate or offer a discounted rate to those affected by Michael. Several local Realtors are leading the charge on this effort. If you need guidance, reach out to your property management company or you can call local real estate expert John Holahan at 850-837-8880.
2. Drop off ready-to-eat food items. You can drop off supplies at the Grayton Beer Company.
3. Donate funds directly to the Red Cross.
4. Shop local. On October 19th and 20th, Beachy Clean Car Wash will be giving away 100% of their income to the victims of Hurricane Michael. Meanwhile, the 30A Company is donating 100% of all sales of their Limited Edition SHORE UP shirt, while the Aesthetic Clinique is hosting a Freshen Up For a Cause event with 100% of injectable profits going towards those affected.
5. Check the supply list posted by the Ohana Institue. According to their Facebook page, “there is still a huge need for support and Ohana’s efforts have sparked a massive plan that is serving thousands.”
